Stage 1 is 15 minutes with homeowner’s pictures with Appointment during the “Doctor is in days” is free.
Stage 2 general plan requires a purchase of $500 and the product received is a graph design of an AREA of the yard needing design. For instance: front foundation, outbuilding complete design, front garden area or one large island or 2 smaller areas. this is NOT a full property design. This stage requires the client to provide pictures and rough measurements of the are to convey the existing site. It also requires a list of Plants that APPEAL to the client. I will then create a design from the list of plants that the client LIKES! (No design on the part of the client is to be done at all.)
Note: The 500 dollars includes a 350 dollar gift certificate to use anytime and does not expire. So essentially the design cost 150 dollars.
Stage 3 is a full out master plan costing about $1800 or more must be estimated depending on scope of the project. it includes ALL the work to complete a full detailed design on computer or architectural paper to SCALE!
Nursery services… Planting cost = generally under normal situations , the charge is 2/3rds the cost of the plant , example is if the tree is $100 then the planting cost is $67 not including preparations of site or access issues nor does it include delivery or equipment needed. Each job has its own circumstances for charges.
Delivery = is $35 minimum and is $5 more for every 5 miles outside of the local area which is 10 miles From Our Business. That is for ONE driver able to deliver the payload. If 2 persons are required, the cost is double. If it requires equipment such as tractor then it’s a minimum $100 also depending on distance for Our Business.
Equipment such as tractor delivery and use are a minimum $100 and $70 per hour thereafter starting the clock from Our Business and includes return travel time to our business.
Additional labor = is $42 / man hour not including any power equipment. Additional charges per man hour includes power equipment such as trimmers, mowers, weedwhackers etc. is $55 / hour.
Most of the preparation and services are usually priced per Package quote and not per hour unless stipulated by contract.
Guarantee is a part of the Planting fees. the warranty is for one year at 100% for all installs by our professionals. If they plant the products, then the Warranty is for 50% of the total paid for ONE year from the date of purchase! ALL AT THE DISCRETION OF SCENIC NURSERY. Note … there are some Specific plants that are EXCLUDED from this chart specifically any plants with zone 6 or higher hardiness or plants that are specifically mentioned not to have a warranty. for example : all butterfly bushes, all Hydrangea of the Macrophylla species, all tender perennials., and of course, all ANNUALS. AGAIN discretion is up to Scenic Nursery determination some exceptions do apply for instance if we feel there has been problems with the product from our experience. NOTE no warranty for ANY drought stressed or abused or neglected plantings!
Pricing of plants is generally related to POT size… Perennials generally priced at: Jumbo Square is $6, #1 is 7.99, #2 is $13, #3 is $18, #4 is $25, and #5 is $32 -42. UNLESS otherwise marked by its own tag or group sign!
Shrubs are also generally priced by Pot size#1 is $12-15, #2 is $25, #3 is $32-38, #4 is $38-45, #5 is $48 -55, #7 is $68-75, #10 is $85-95. Most of the rest are Priced by plant size and are MARKED individually. for instance: 2 1/2 to 3 ft is $48, 3-3 1/2 is $68 , 3 1/2 to 4 is $85, 4-5 is $110 , 5-6 is $135 , 6-7 is $165
Trees are by trunk caliper and run from small like 3/4 inch caliper for about $48, 1 inch is $68 , 1-1/4 inch is $95, 1-1/2 is $135, 13/4 is $165, 2 inch is $195 , 2-1/2 is $265, 3 inch is 350 and up Most all are labelled and priced individually .

Fruit plants like Grapevines, Raspberry, Blackberry, and Blueberry , Strawberry and Currants. Prices average around $25 to $48 some very large ones for about $75.
Fruit trees like Apples (25 varieties), Peach (8 varieties), Cherry (5 varieties), Plums, Nectarines, Apricots, Pears (6 varieties) as well as other unusual fruit trees. Most fruit trees range from $38 to $75 most are $38 to 65. We also have larger ones that are up to 2 inch caliper for about $235.
